Bigg Boss 18 winner Karan Veer Mehra reveals NOT receiving Rs 50 lakh prize money from the makers

Karan Veer Mehra, the winner of Bigg Boss 18, recently shared insights about his victory, his experience on the show, and an unexpected delay in receiving his prize money. Karan reflected on his journey and offered some behind-the-scenes anecdotes regarding his win.

During an appearance on Bharti Singh’s podcast, having previously triumphed in Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, Karanveer noted that while his earnings from the latter show have been settled. He is still awaiting the Rs 50 lakh prize money from Bigg Boss 18. “Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 was my first show with Colors. Now I don’t intend to leave this channel. Colors is actually a channel that makes you a name. Rs 50 lakhs is the winning amount for Bigg Boss 18 and it’s yet to come. Khatron Ke Khiladi 14’s money has come, and the car that I won is going to arrive in a few days. I didn’t get the chance earlier, so I got it booked now.”

He went on to add, “It was all God’s plan. Everyone has contributed in some way to my victory. I was having fun inside and wasn’t looking to win. My weekly total was sorted, so winning or losing didn’t matter much. It’s a personality show, and mine appealed to the audience. It’s not about being more or less. Even if I came second, I wouldn’t have been a different person. I felt for a while that I was going to win. The love I am getting after Bigg Boss is too overwhelming. I am spending a lot of time with fans, especially the aunties who have been blessing me a lot.”

Karan Veer expresses belief in Bigg Boss 18

Karan Veer also expressed his belief that his season of Bigg Boss stood out due to his unique gameplay. He stated that he aimed to present a more positive image, breaking the mould of the show’s typical drama and controversies. “I knew my mother was watching, so I avoided abusive language and physical confrontations. I even told the producers that I would win the trophy without unnecessary drama. People have commented that I’ve helped cleanse Bigg Boss’s image. Now, many actors are considering participating in the show because they see a different side of it,” he explained.

As Karanveer basked in his post-Bigg Boss success, fans are eagerly anticipating his next moves. For now, however, all eyes are on whether he will finally receive the long-awaited prize money.
